Class was about forgetting and fabricating. One thing we discussed was how forgiveness doesn’t mean anything if action isn’t taken afterwards with the new understanding in mind. That’s why it almost doesn’t matter who forgives whom, if we forget why forgiveness was needed in the first place. I think the same goes for salvation. If we don’t live as though we’re truly forgiven, then we’ve forgotten why we were forgiven, and what for. And that’s why repentance is fundamental – we are cherished
